Edinburgh-based Filmmaker, Director & illustrator

I’m an award-winning filmmaker with a passion for turning personal experiences into powerful narratives that reframe misunderstood themes— that quietly expand empathy and invite audiences to reshape their inherited perspectives. I’m drawn to stories that feel big, bizarre and visually and philosophically expansive yet are intimately deeply human at their core. 

Themes of identity and the Asian diaspora, especially rooted in underrepresented communities are central to my practice. I’m also fascinated by philosophy which weaves into my work through questions of meaning and perception.

When i’m not working on films, I works as a commercial animation director and designer. I have 4+ years of experience of designing, storyboarding and directing everything from GIFS to series, in-house and remotely with creative teams.
