Edinburgh-based Filmmaker , Creative Lead & llustrator
Much of my work begins with questions I can’t seem to let go of: philosophical questions about the limits of perception, the nuances of identity, and the complicated search for meaning. My creative practice has become a way of sitting with these questions, using uncanny, conceptually expansive ideas to shape unconventional work that uses storytelling as a form of exploration and reckoning rather than resolution.
Rooted in my experiences and communities, particularly the underrepresented Asian Diaspora, I’m interested in creating work that smuggles intimate human questions into imaginative psychologically layered narratives. I hope to reframe inherited assumptions and bridge perception and lived reality.
When i’m not working on films, I works as a commercial designer/director. I have 4+ years of experience of designing, storyboarding and directing everything from GIFS to series, in-house and remotely with creative teams.
